Delegate James Proctor moved to Accokeek, Maryland in the later part of his life, having previously lived in Brandywine. I remember him saying that his wife wanted a bigger house, but he couldn’t leave the district he served.

The video below is difficult to hear, but he talks about becoming a state delegate because he was an educator and he wanted to make education better for all Marylanders.
